At the end of year 2020, the company carried out extensive reconstruction of the planing mill. A new Weinig Hydromat 4300 planing machine with a maximum feed speed of 300m per minute was installed. This machine has fast and up to date functions that enables a quick transition between products. Additionally, the planing mill lines and auxiliary equipment were improved and upgraded by installing additional bundling line, brand-new strapping machine and 2 new packing units, thus increasing the unit’s processing capacity. As part of the reconstruction, a Spanex sawdust extraction filter and aspiration system was installed.
