Kurekss SIA was formed in 1995 as a private limited company. Company's sawmilling operation is located in western part of Latvia near the ice free port Ventspils and is surrounded by the biggest forest area of Latvia.
    Kurekss supports the maintenance of the natural environment and therefore has been certified for "chain of custody" in accordance with principles and criteria of FSC.
    Kurekss is registered to the European Standard ISO 9001:2000. Company's philosophy is to focus on customer's needs and to create a partnership in business.
